Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
